Title: NERC Arena

I tried basic modding. It is an edited small arena to look like the NERC arena. I don't know how to change it to say NERC arena in RA2 instead of Small arena. Input is apriciated.

loks pretty good

open up the python file for the small arena in (python is preferred but if not) notepad and you can edit the name there (it really stands out somewhere near the top)

also may I ask if you GMF edited it at all ?

I do not know how to edit GMF files. I figured how to do what I did by reading other posts about this.

umm your arena at this stage conflicts wit the small arena then ? (all named the same stuff?)

starting to rename the GMF, Python and then editing the filenames inside the python would be your best start (fairly straight forward all around the top of the python file

So I open the GMF file and I get this

you must get a Decompiler/ Compiler to translate it into ASCII so you can read it

So I have decompiled it now what do I do? Do I re-name the GMF or do I find the name in the De-compiled GMF itself?

open up the decompiled one

then rename all the files names (up the top again) for the images to new names (just add nerc in front of them or something)

then recompile

then you have to jump into the maps folder and rename all the images the same

How do you install because it never works for me it just apears as a black screen

It should install like any other arena. Right now it is unfinished and overwrites the small arena. I might finish it if I have time and the urge to finish it. :P
