NAR Skin Pack
« on: March 11, 2010, 10:53:18 AM »
Yes, i will release the NAR AI skin pack independently from NAR AI (the independent  pack will have the DSL 2.1 component stats). Release will be probably late April unless i kick my ass enough.

But one question remains. Rather than cluttering the component menu with assloads of just skinned components (i am thinking big and there will be lots of new skins), I am thinking making all the skins hidden, so you will either have to type cheatbot2 ether just add a few words in the bot file to change your components.

Or i could just keep the components visible like in NAR AI v2.2.

What do you guys think ?

By the way, i skinned WBC wheels so you have grey, blue, black, yellow and white ones, but they don't seem to appear when clicking on them in the menu :FFFUUU

But what do you mean, styling from everything ?

^^Am already doing this for now.

But i will most likely do like this and add the skins at the end of the menus for the menus that already exist.

Alright, so anyone can submit a skinned component (or more) right now... and not only Joe, huh :P The more the merrier !

What i need are not only the skin, but the Styles .txt and the gmf. And i want the thing to work...

I have everything styled in the SAGE skin pack, but I realized a while ago that I was super lazy xD

Once you get it down it really isn't that hard to make a bunch of style menus.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

It isn't hard, but it's damn repetitive and very long if you have a lot of components :P

Hell, you can't even change the bitmap name in the uncompiled gm or it crashes.
