Okay, I discovered out that Typhoon II replica is using Flatmotor, and I want to make it to spin faster and deadlier... Any tips?
name = Flatmotor
preview = flatmotor_preview.bmp
dir = flatmotor
model = flatmotor.gmf
type = mechanics
base = SpinMotor
master = base
passthru = axle_colision
attaching = axle
description = Motor used for outside your bot, It will not attach to your base.
hitpoints = 18000
elecMaxInOutRate = -400
power = 175 20
sort = 104
motorsound = sounds\bigmotor_loop.wav
attachsound = sounds\cmp_generic.wav
standard = 1
hidden = 2

"Power" section

I guess upping the numbers on the 'power' line?
Edit: Ninja'd. ¬_¬
-
Actually, upping the second number makes it spin slower. I'm not sure what the numbers represent but I've messed with the numbers before and that's what happens.
-
I was thinking if I could modify it powerful as the 6-mag Gearbox motor. The problem is that when it hits something, it slows down too much... I also modified the shell from 100kg to 50kg, to make it MW.

Typhoon II is worthless. The weapon doesn't spin when it's blocked, and I'm getting frustrated. Also, I can't find the original .txt file of flatmotor, so I just added this straight to components folder.
-
Seriously...
I can't find a solution. What I need to do to make the Typhoon 2 Deadly as Tornado Mer?
-
uhhhh
compare both txt files and see what's what?

I did that and it didn't work.
-
It is "power" indeed. First number is the maximum speed the motor can attain, second number is the acceleration.
-
I still haven't solved the issue. Typhoon II's motor is slower than a snail. Could someone just make files for me so I can extract them straight to components folder?
-
The incompetent advice is strong in this thread...
Increase both numerical values of the "power = X Y" line. First is the maximum speed the motor can get to, second is how fast it accelerates.
Easy enough.

Problem has been solved, thanks to 123. component txt-file editing wasn't enough. I can't explain it but we had to do some tweaks to make it work.

He didn't extract the component.cfz file.... Yeah.
