Hover engine?

Hey,

I got the RA2 yesterday. It always looked like a good game to me, but I didn't really try it out until quite recently. Anyway, my weirdness aside, how the heck do I use the hover engine? It just kind of sits there, and I have no idea what to do with it.

You will need CO2 and you need to wire it.

Weird. I tried to wire it, but it didn't work. =\

I guess I'll try again. Maybe I used the wrong control or something...

EDIT: Almost forgot: if I used a custom decal or made a new team symbol for my team, when I play with my friend, will he be able to see them or does he need a copy of these things as well?

I don't think he needs a copy. That's just for parts. Decals are part of the skin on the bot and are distributed with the bot file to all match participants.

ignore duh (not in a mean way)

you need to open the games main directry

locate the file "ra2.cfg" with NOTEPAD (or such programme)

find the line that reads "AllowNonStandardMultiplayer=0"

and change it to "AllowNonStandardMultiplayer=1"

I like the hover engins get to have hover war and so on.
All you need to do is use the analogs to wire it with some air tanks and wala you are sloly fling throu the air
