I will post some of my arenas here soon.

~~The first one is the Wooden Arena, I will post pics soon and I still need help with it as the skin won't appear. And I need help with elimination stuff and smoke.~~

Here is the Wooden Arena floor skin

Future updates will contain a pit with smoke.

Not bad, the red X looks out of place though.

Also, if that's for the RA2T2 arena, the clear walls will look out of place. It would look better if you could skin them to look like wood but I doubt that would be a simple matter.

brown hex colours and solid transparency would look fine.. thats what Lu-Tze did for the joust arena..

To skin something like that would you have to change the transparency values of the walls? Or is it an invisible GMF with a semi transparent skin?

GMF's like to trick you :P

there is 2 ways to make things transparent

1) set in the GMF for that object

2) use a .tga image with transparency

the former does everything on the object to that degree of transparency.. I tend to use .tga's for my arena's

I was wondering if someone could help with adding a pit, because that is what the red x is for.

Probably Alpha channel for object section transparency.
Just mod the GMF if whole object is (semi-)transparent.

In GMF work, 'adding a pit' is a bit more involved than it appears, GRW.

First you need to make sure that the GMF file has a separate object for the floor. Then you can either reuse a GMF object with a hole in the center (like Click's bladewall from the BBEANS Arena) or make a hole using an object for each side (4 objects total). It tends to be a bit more challenging than most assume...

Alright I made an arena, with everything skinned and edits to the .py files

The MLP FiM arena, and arena with a MLP Skin, I originally made the arena skins back in May but forgot about it and in the past few days I decided to go and edit it.

It is currently version 0.1

In future udates

-New Hazards
-Transparency on the starting points
-Skins for Sawblades and Spikes
-And More
