It's the Ocean Platform.  Something is wrong with the .py file methinks.

The No Graphics version of DSL 2.0 is in the download database now.  Hopefully this will at least let the download version users play it.

How awesome must it be to know one of your bots is in the mod and therefore famous?

I wonder if they'll add a Defy Ant replica?

Questions
« Reply #32 on: November 10, 2009, 07:09:32 PM »
I have a few questions.
1.Why should I download the DSL mod?
2.Will it remove any of my existing bots?
3.Are there (potential)problems I should know of before downloading?

(Not related to the mod)
How do I import robot or paintjob files from outside, and where can I find some?

I would like to thank anyone who helps in advance.

DSL is a completely new game it has new parts that replace the existing

robots from stock may work but wont last to well against DSL robots

my suggestion is download dsl 2.1 from one of the members signatures around here (Naryar or Sage) all you have to do is extract it and play, no install or anything so you can keep your standard version and DSL versions for whichever one you feel like playing :-D

as for textures.. in the Robot Arena 2 file you will find a folder called tutorials take a look in there :-D

I think DSL works fine with just overwriting the Components and AI folders, but you risk mixing Stock and DSL components AND you will not have 6 bots per AI team like DSL has.

I dont mix DSL with Stock! I siply copy all Components n AI folders. That way i rewrite Stock with DSL!   I mean, i use DSL components (items, bots, arenas) with default game/menu screen!
