Burst motor with an extended arc?
« on: December 12, 2008, 01:49:36 PM »
Are there any burst motors that have an arc of more than 90 degrees?  I looked at the one on DSL that claims to, but it turns out just to be a spin motor.

Im still trying to find that out myself!
Some say that its all to do with editing the components .txt file.
Ask Mad, he'll know what to do!
(P.s. Love your replicas!)
Damn I should probably put something fancy in this bit huh?

A couple years ago, Click made a bot that had a burst motor that could do 180 degrees by editing the start and end points in the .bot file.

Glad you like them!

I'm looking at a text file of one of the burst motors, and there aren't that many lines, so finding the right on shouldn't be too hard.  Here are a few select lines of text, do any of them seem like they might be key?

type = mechanics
elecMaxInOutRate = -700
burst = 20 60 120
power = 4 60
sort = 14
master = motor

The rest are lines that I'm fairly sure have nothing to do with the swing arc (sounds, HP, name, etc)
