Hello, I'm just getting back into RA2. The last time I played and patched this there was an additional attachment point to the control board, one on the edge of the board. That was patch 1.2 I believe. I have the NVidia 1.3 patch for CD users on my installation.
Does anyone know where this component went?
Any help is appreciated :)

I made it, but it floated over like a turd in the punch bowl. Nobody wanted to use the mods so I quit pushing it as stock. I am working on a new components pack that it is in, or I can send you the .gmf......but people didn't like the idea......and it was patch 1.31

I was actually looking for that as well. I think I still have it, just not the .cfz to make it appear.
-
i liked it. made it easier to stack it inside the black batteries.

I thought it was a good Idea (I also remember the voting) but to me it just isn't stock
-
I thought it was a good idea too. As long as it left the old APs in place...

I see no reason why it shouldn't be stock. It's a really useful component that allows for more creative chassis designs.

All you need is the .gmf as it only adds and attachment point.
-
Is the control board mod available in any of your existing component packs? I wouldn't mind you sending it, but I wouldn't mind downloading any of the mods either :)

Well then, I guess I need to search my personal computational machine device to see if it's still there.

Thanks for looking guys :)

Here is the control board and the snapper2 for those that want it.

Simply replace the stock .gmf with these in their folder found in the components folder.
I will get off my ass and get my new components pack out next week.....minus a few items I am having trouble with. You will be able to easily upgrade the new pack as new components are made available. ALL bots made with my old pack WILL NOT WORK with the new one, but all future components will be very easy to add.

Awesome, thank you! Looking forward to your components pack :)
