out of the recent arenas I made most likely the one I spent the most time on the GMF with so lets break it apart for you :-D

Starting off with FB's Small Arena

starting with the GMF..

first working out the objects, FB made it really easy compaired to some stock arenas, so we have

each wall N, S, E, W
each bumper N, S, E, W
the floor
the surrounding scenery (which is a large box)
the top plexi
and the crusher

starting off by getting rid of the crusher ... I wanted to test it as I went rather then doing it all in one hit so for the time being I just set the crushers mesh vertex's to 0

next I worked out a basic plan for this arena I wanted 2 levels, 2 curbs and four walls

so next I deleted the North Bumper Object as it wasn't needed

changing the Y-Axis of the floor the rise it up higher and make the floor a little flatter then the X-Axis to make it skinnier,

next I took the south bumper and gave it the Dimensions of the original floor so it would act as the replace since the original was strung up in the air (the Vertex's were different to the floor but the size was the same so a bit of number crunching there)

next I reduced each side of the East and West Walls by 1/4 (quarter each side means it would be half the size while still being in the middle)

made the height just a bit more then the top floor

doing the same with the N and S walls with the X-Axis only the lower Y value was changed to the height of top platform so it appeared to be attached to the top

finally the E and W bumpers were risen a small amount to make walls and the top plexi removed

then came skinning....

to explain above everything easier here is a labeled diagram

next on the agenda is to make the upper platform disappear or descend once a robot is knocked off so the other can join to action

Looks good...
And thanks for spelling it out like that, Joe.
