Beta testers needed!
« on: June 09, 2011, 11:36:58 AM »
I have my custom component pack ready for beta testing.
I guess I need help from Knowledgeable members and to get input on some things......like it is WAY out of balance, and AAM is needed for some components. The Jeep is too small and I need to see if I can find the max file, or make a small set of military wheels, kinda what I planned all along.

If you can help, and know how too AAM, and know how to balance parts post here and I will link the beta to you.
There are some tiny little motors kinda like Lu-Tze tank track motors that WILL get abused, so I don't really want it to be balanced to stock.

THANKS!

I'd volunteer like I'm sure about 5 million others will but I feel there are more qualified people than me (a.k.a 123) simply because they have the balance formulas. So AAM you say? I CAN do that. But as I said, there will be loads saying "MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!11!!1!!" and I don't want to be like that. It's better to ask people individually rather than put it out here as then all heck will break loose.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

I will need regular members like you (not meaning you will get picked) to test because you may see a problem advanced modders may miss.
I am going to build bots that require AAM and BFE for those that don't know how to do it, but want the bot to skin and edit what they can.

I can look at the balance if you want.  I am assuming you want them to be balanced with DSL?

And yes I can BFE.

Of course I can't BFE or AAM but I can edit part stats. I'd be willing to do some testing for you if you'd like. I like experimenting  with parts so I can test them on different designs.

Would have helped but don't know AAM and I am busy beta testing RCT3 CFRs, CTRs and CSOs for the Rct3-Advanced forums.

I got a virus not long ago and had to redo my comp......I don't even have Max installed, but will install it by this week end.

If you can BFE the jeep a little bigger so that the mud tires will fit, that would be awesome.

123STW and JoeBlo seem to have the more difficult aspects covered but I'd be willing to give some input.

Thanks, you can now see the board, and input is what I really want, I like it powerful because it is for amusement only and should NEVER be allowed in tournaments.
I need to know if you guys can use the machine gun and such, and can new users do stuff without making 9 pages of tech support.
