I tried seeing if it was ra2.cfz that was the problem, but I have no idea what .giff files are.
I'm running this off of an external hard drive.

How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

All my copies of RA2 suddenly stopped working, if that's what you mean.

when you're playing, does the cpu go through the roof?

It does rises from 10% to 60%. Would that be "through the roof"?

not quite, mine usually goes straight to 100% :gawe

Maybe if I delete everything RA2-related something might happen and it'll start working again?

Update:


Deleting everything RA2 on my external hard drive doesn't work. Does RA2 put any files on the hard drive (C:/) it's connected to?

Have you tried installing it on the computer instead of on the flash drive? (helps identify if it is a problem with flash drive)
Does the RA2 on the flash drive still work on other computers? (helps identify if it is a problem with the computer)
If you answered yes to both of the above, you have more than one problem.

We already know that it isn't a problem with RA2's files because you've tried reinstalling a fresh copy of RA2.

BTW, the functionality of buttons are handled by the EXE (GIBs only specify the appearance and location of buttons).
GIFF files are associated with the different fonts that RA2 uses.

RA2 works fine on other computers. And it didn't work when I put it off my External Hard Drive.

What programs does RA2 need to make it work?
(I want to know all the stuff needed to make it work, any .dll's in System32 it uses, if it uses any runtimes. etc.)

Actually, this is more of a problem with my computer rather than RA2. If I plug my external hard drive into another computer, RA2 decides to work.
