Well, I'll start my showcase with a new HS I've built. I call it 28, in honour of 21 year old Luc Bourdon who died today. He played defense for the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL.

I'll post innards later, but I'll see it sage can guess this one's setup first.

More bots to come.

that depends. how many irons on each? are there 4 or 2 motors?

EDIT: got it. in the small end there is the black batts. the other end has 2 snappers with the axles pointing outwards sideways. the drive is attached directly to the axle of the snapper. there is a 20 cm extender coming off the end of both snappers, which is slightly turned to point the weapon motors downwards. the chassis is perfectly measured so it looks like 2 motors, but its really 4, one on each of each of the attachment points.

Nice setup! a full HS off 2 20cms. i did that with a different setup. you should try attaching the drive to the end of the 20 cm thats coming off the snapper. it will put the drive back more, and less exposed.
that is, if i guessed it right :)

Sage got the setup right, and sadly it is plastic, but DSA will be the next revision. The drive is fairly unstable, so I think I'll use sage's suggestion on the drive placement. And, somehow I think Absolute Chaos might be slightly better designed. I'm also anxious to see this Category 5 that sage has mentioned a couple of times before the old forums got wiped. Thanks for the comments :D

It was meant to be like what Starcore's Fury had with the front mace, but it dosen't stick out as muce, so it's kinda inneffective. But anyways, I upgraded 28 so that is's invertible AND has DSA. I'm proud of myself. (There are 4 tribars with 36 spikes there, but they're just disguised as two :P)

Comments? Suggestions?

looks like you used my suggestion :)

good idea not angling the tribars. i spose thats so you can make it invertible with the shiny wheels. thats also how you got DSA. Nice Work! That's a great setup.

Why use it in the first place? Does it help connect to the game or help lag?
