« on: April 07, 2013, 03:36:08 PM »
So i got the 30 day free trial of 3ds max (2013) and i did exactly what it said on the wiki but when i come to open the script it just come up with symbols and doesn't do anything. Do i need an earlier version of max or is there another solution? Please Help!

You shouldn't need to open the script manually...

Save the export script to your 3dsmax/Scripts folder as ra2export.ms.
You put it in that folder and run the export script when you are done creating the mesh.

Open the Tools Tab, then click on MAXScript. next, click on Run Script in the panel that just showed up. Select the file we downloaded earlier.

Pretty sure it isn't compatible with 3DSmax 2013, you need an older version.
