Wild Robots Needs You!!!
« on: January 20, 2010, 03:11:03 AM »
Hey All

As most of you know, i do that series on youtube, Wild Robots (for those of you who dont, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS!?)
Anyway, im sure most of you know what has been happening to me recently, so i havent been able to do much stuff Wild Robots related.
Now i've hit a bigger problem!
Whenever i go to click on an empty or already taken space in the select a bot screen to go into the botlab, my game crashes on me!
And everything else works, exhibition, tournaments ect.
One idea i did have was to try un-ai'ing some bots that i had recently Ai'ed, incase they had a fault with them, but nada.
Im really confused right now, i've even tired copying my components, AI, robot designs and teams folder to a blank game, but even that crashes!
If anyone does know of a cure that can help me, please do feel free to help :)
Thanks
-Wham
(p.s. i know i've gone doodle-ally!)
Damn I should probably put something fancy in this bit huh?

does this happen on all teams in the HQ ?

try going into the Teams folder (not to be mistaken with the AI folder) and deleting the bot files there as the game saves robots in those places even if they dont appear in the game as a robot

that is providing you dont need any of those robots, otherwise try making a new team
