if u have vista or xp 64 bit get the 64bit ver if u have xp get the x86 ver.

I belive he is asking wich DSL version he should download.
Install this first:

When that is done, apply this patch on top of it to patch the DSL to 2.1:

My advice:
Screw WinRar and get 7-zip.

And you dont need to buy it, the program will give you a popup every time you open something with it after the 30 day trial, saying that your trial has ended, but it still wont stop you from using the program.

Or just use 7-zip, which is open source, free, faster, and supports a bigger variety of file formats.

but not .rar.part1 or whatnot
i use both but mainly winrar
and winrar can do the equivalent of the zip part things
