So I downloaded this patch, how do I get it on my game.

Patch? Just drag and drop every file from the patch's folder into the game's folder. That simple.

my download isn't a folder. It is a .rar

Well then, get 7-Zip and download it (you may have to restart your computer to completely download it). Afterwards, when Windows asks you what to open the .rar file with, choose 7-Zip (and say always open .rar files with it), and you're all set.

Any working RA2 game we have in the download section comes per-applied with the 1.4 patch, so this is more than likely unnecessary.

It's for Stock RA2, and if you downloaded RA2 from this site it's already 1.4 patched.

If you for some reason don't have V1.4 already, you just unrar the .exe and run the .exe
