Un-clickable...

Starting up robot arena 2 works fine, but whenever i try to enter the botlab, exhibition, multiplayer, or anything else that requires me to click on something, it doesn't work.
The problem appeared after my rubbish mouse decided to triple click on the RA2 icon, and brought up 2 RA2's. The one that started up last was fine, so i closed it so i only had one open. Then, i couldn't click inside the window of RA2. I couldn't even quit.
I decided to build in DSL instead, but the problem appeared there, even though i only opened one window again.
After a restart, it still doesn't work.
Computer specs (copied from my computer/properties):

Intel(r) Core(TM) i5 CPU
660 @ 3.33GHz
3.33 GHz, 3.42 GB of RAM
Physical Address Extension

Any help?

Did you alt+tab out of it by any chance?

Nope. What would you have suggested if I had? I'll try it anyway.

I was going to suggest alt+tabbing back into the game but that might not do anything if you didn't in the first place..

Heh, tried that anyway. also closed all programs and tried running it. no luck.

Try a fresh install, just copy teams, AI and robot design folders (plus any others you want to backup).

im not sure but i think this is that weird glitch that apparently makes it so you cant click anything on the main menu and pretty much screws you out of building until you reinstall your os or get a new comp

buttons still light up and stuff when you hover over them right ? it just does nothing when you click ?

if my previous suggestion doesn't work you should check your processes tab in task manager for any RA2 program running and end it.

buttons still light up and stuff when you hover over them right ? it just does nothing when you click ?

Oh well, i'll go look for my XP disk... :/

Just reboot the computer. If it doesn't work, reinstall RA2.

Anywho, I think AS is right. Looks like you need to re-install your OS.

I have the same problem, i had to get on a different CPU.

RA2 is known to sh** itself on certain graphics cards. I believe it's certain nVidia cards that are most prone to having major issues running RA2.

Try a system restore, worked for me last year...
