Title: Two question
Post by: duncanrp on July 31, 2014, 12:44:30 PM: Hi I was wondering whether some one can help me when I boot up Ra2 it comes up with unable to initialise sound engine

Also i was wondering can u change the event arenas?

Post by: cephalopod on July 31, 2014, 01:13:39 PM: I'm not sure what's going on with the first but, but I know you can change event arenas.
In the Events and Events_2Player documents you can find the settings for each event. The last 2 lines of text for each event define the arena and it's preview image. Find whatever arena you want from the events (things may be more complex for arenas that aren't in events) and copy/paste them to other events.

Example of those 2 last lines I mentioned:

Post by: KOS on July 31, 2014, 03:14:58 PM: That "unable to initialise sound engine error" is caused when the game can't detect a sound source e.g headset, speakers etc...
try unplugging your sound device and re plugging it.
