im trying to skin a bot. i exported the paint template, edited it w/ gimp and saved it as a 24bit bitmap. when i import it onto the bot it shows up as black and white. i have tried a 256 color bitmap also but that crashed ra2.

what is the correct file format to save the texture in?
edit: oh and i also looked at the bitmap in multiple programs... and it is in color the way i want it to be.

you did edit within the green lines right ? it will only take the texture from those places ? otherwise 24 bit is the correct format

how do u export the texturemap?

go into the paint shop, click on export cahssis and then check export template and save.
