Yo, so when I'm opening any copy of RA2, it starts loading, everything's going fine, but as soon as it gets to the part where the main menu pops up, the thing shuts down. And there's now warning box like "The program has stopped responding," or "C++ error". It just takes me back to where I clicked the game and the RA2 icon is in the task bar. I try clicking on it in the taskbar, but all that happens is the screen turns black and after like 4 seconds, it takes me back to the same screen. I've already tried restoring the computer and I haven't done any big modding. Can I get some help here?

big modding
it doesnt have to be BIG modding, you probably made a completely minor mistake on some robots bindings. what was the last robot you ai'd...?

Well the thing is is that it's with every single copy of RA2. And sometimes it randomly fixes itself and then I'm good until I turn the computer off. Then the problem keeps happening. Could it still be in the bindings though? Doesn't seem like it would be bindings linked.

Okay, I copied the application you click on to start the game and pasted i into an icon onto the desktop. When I click this icon, I get this error message:

Well, clearly... you need python22.dll.

Yeah but I don't know what it is, where to get it, or where to put it.

You don't know how to download .dlls? Pfffffffffffft!

find it on the internet or in the ra2 installation process dawg

.dll files for dummies:
1.google the .dll that is missing
2.download it from whatever website distributes the .dll that you need
3.install/place in whatever folder you need it to be
