Title: SnS wiring
Post by: freeziez on August 12, 2010, 10:42:03 PM
How do you wire an SnS so that it spins, but when it starts being counted out, it moves so that the immobilization stops?

It's not the wiring, it's the programming. I recommend FBS_plus.py (or something like it). FBS1, FBS2? Duno, it has FBS in it. (Haven't done much AIing lately)

IMO The best choice for this is FBS_1.py.  It can be hard to learn at first, but Mad has a download of it somewhere with an easy-to-use tutorial.

Alternatively you can use FBS.py, which is easier to use and will allow your bot to move while spinning, but will give your bot less sweeping power making it perform worse against wedges.

It's your choice.

FBS.py is more complex in getting everythign perfect

cant really go wrong with FBS_1.py (which I believe we were going to rename to SnS_1.py at one stage)

wire the analog controls

"Ahead" (forwards and backwards)
"LeftRight' (left and right)
"Spin" (left and right again)

its very important for spin to be on an analog otherwise it wont stop in a count out
