Well, for some reason, my Smartzone from the DSL 2.1 isn't working. I tried putting in weapon, then the button named "Fire". That didn't work, so I followed a video. I then typed in "AxeF" for the zone, and "FireF" for the button. Soon, I tried like "FireF" with "FireF" ect.
What should I do? Get a different Smartzone, or type in something else?

weapon
Also, this goes in Technical Support

I've already tried that. Nothing is working.

Some smartzones work better than others. Try downloading another smartzone. Also, make sure you are using the correct bindings.
EDIT: Playzooki is right, you need to same the smartzone "weapon" and the button "Fire".

what ai.py are you using

what ai.py are you using
Poker.py

Poker.py requires the zone to be called "weapon" (no quotes) and the trigger to be called "Fire" (no quotes).
If you are already doing this, does your AIed bot follow you around the arena?
-
Yes, but no weapon firing. I'm gonna re-download the Smartzone.

Have you tried omni.py? I doubt it would make a difference, but you could try.

Re-downloading the smartzone won't change anything because if you were able to attach it than the file isn't corrupt. It is also worth noting that the EXE has the coding for detecting what is in the zone and the PY has the coding for how the bot should respond. There isn't really anything in the smartzone's files except the mesh and general characteristics (such as weight and component type).
Changing the PY won't change things either because they both use nearly identical coding for handling smartzones and triggers.
Could you upload it and send me the link via PM? I'm sure that I could diagnose and fix it in 5 minutes or less.

Actually, redownloading worked.... Either something was wrong with the smartzone working, or I got a different smartzone with different commands.
