Slim gold motor in DSL?
« on: June 27, 2011, 11:11:17 AM »
I've seen a lot of DSL-legal robots that use what appears to be a very thin gold-coloured spin motor.  It's not the slimBody, it's a spinner motor.  But I can't find any such component in my fresh DSL copy, even with cheatbot enabled.  What is the txt file?

flatmotor? Try the last white tile in motors under cheatbot2.
Better than GK since 2009.

It's called the FlatMotor, IIRC. The drive version is called the Slow FlatMotor, IIRC.

Yes

If it is that though Sonny, it ain't DSL legal, it's a cheatbot2 part.

Yep, very unbalanced part, can't be mounted to the baseplate either

I just remebered where I saw the motor in question - in Squirrel_Monkey's replica of The Spider.  S_M as long as you're here can you confirm what that motor was?

Alright then thanks.  I actually had a thought about that bot; you could use ninja stars for the spinning spikes.

How do I put the green tick mark up?

Edit the first post.
And, I wouldn't say so with the ninja stars.

Thanks for that.  I was about to make a new thread  "Help, the green tick mark is gone from the icon select menu"

Flatmotor indeed. (flatmotor.txt) There's also a slow version.
