If you're just wanting to use it for stacking stuff like Firestorm Flippers, you can wire a button control to it, then move the "Range of motion end" to maximum. Hover the component over the attachment point, fire the skirt hinge, and it should slowly return to its original position, and you click to attach, a bit like snapper loading in Stock.
