i have been trying to skin one of my bots that needed gatorhide so i used a photo but the results cam out a black and white skin how do i fix this
i used gimp

More information please: what exactly did you do? What was the resolution of the picture?
My best guess is that you saved it as an 8 bit bmp rather than a 24 bit.
