Skinning Crash
« on: June 07, 2014, 06:59:07 PM »
I looked for a fix but couldn't find one. Maybe I didn't look hard enough but I couldn't for the life of me locate a solution.

I attempted to import a texture for my robot in the paintshop window and it crashed immediately.

File type: .bmp
Size: 256 x 256
Program: Paint.NET

Not sure if there is anything pertinent that I missed.

Was hoping to submit a showcase today, but want to at least skin the thing. Sorry for the trouble. Thanks in advance.

Make sure you are saving the bitmap in 24 bit mode. I'm not sure about Paint.NET but I know Gimp likes to save things in 32 bit mode.

A god among men you are.

I had it set to default instead of 24.
Thanks for the help.
