Hi All
I recently got help from Alphasim about how to create your own armour, i got as far as uncompiling the RA2.cfz file, adding my armour to the Armour Definitions.txt file, but then got stuck on recompiling RA2.cfz.
Alpha sugested a compiler for me (makeCFL) but that fails, i did ask him about it, but have had no reply back, so i was wondering if anyone knew how to recompile the RA2.cfz file.
Thanks
Wham
EDIT: He also sent me Lu-Tze's MakeCFL GUI, with these instructions:
To use the Lu-Tze's CFL compiler, select Compile as your desired action, add all of the files that where in the original ra2.cfz file, name the destination archive ra2.cfz (back up or move your original first!) and hit compile.
The link for the tool is here: https://gametechmods.com/rfshq/pafiledb/index.php?act=view&id=143
I have selected Compile, added all of the files from the original ra2.cfz, named the destination archive as ra2.cfz, and i hit compile and nothing happens.
I hope i've provided enough info on how you can help me with my problem.
Thanks

so you have Lu-Tze CFZ compiler/decompliler ???
you just add the txt files by clicking the add button, before you do so in the little option box down the bottom click components... after you added what you need up the top click the folder icon and browse for the location you want it and then type in the name you want it at the bottom of the window (dont worry about typing cfz or anything) and then hit save and compile
-
Im doing that but it aint working!
All the components from the cfz are still scattered everywhere in the Robot Arena 2 folder! (Or in my case Wild Robots 2)
-
try copying them all to one folder befoe doing it... your only trying to compile the txt files right ?...
ps: i tried it before writing that post ^^ and it worked for me ???
-
Ok this is actually very tricky.
Here's the tutorial-
http://dummyworld.net/media/?pageid=4
and you said you already had MAKECFL? you need that one and not lut-zes.
-
Yeah, how do i use Make CFL then?
-
I gave you a tutorial in my post... It's much better at tellin gyou how to do it than i could ever do.
