Title: Random RA2 Crashes
Post by: That Robot is a Spy! on October 28, 2013, 01:43:43 PM: So I decided to play around with Stock 1.4 today (AwesumSauce's DL link), and the game has a very annoying tendency to crash randomly and frequently. Is there anyway to avoid these random crashes?

Post by: Mr. AS on October 28, 2013, 01:51:18 PM: make the game fullscreen if you haven't already. the same thing happens on my computer if i even so much as dare wiring a bot or selecting an ai bot for too long. you need to do it quickly otherwise it will crash.

Post by: That Robot is a Spy! on October 28, 2013, 02:00:13 PM: Fullscreen seems to have fixed it, but I just found something else: It is absolute hell trying to delete stuff inside the bot, requiring multiple clicks to even select them.

Post by: Chaosmancer on October 28, 2013, 02:04:51 PM: With that, I've found that changing tabs (E.G. go on Overview, then back to construction) fixes it, and that it can affect any component (usually when something attached to a motor is moving for whatever reason).

That can't-click-a-component-because-I-just-changed-tabs is old news.
