RA2 is goofing up.

RA2 has been acting fine untill now. I only have Sages skins, FBs components, and the 1.4 patch installed. I renamed the .exe "Starcore v3.0" and put a shortcut on steam, then it started screwing up. When I try to do exibition matches, the prievew pics never come up for my bot, and it crashes when I try to battle. I tried renaming it to "Robot Arena 2" but it did nothing. I could realy apreciate your help.

have you tried running the .exe itself and not through steam ?

then its likely one of those unavoidable issues the game gets from time to time (CC3 tournament game got it) just export all your robots and re-extract a clean copy

Don't re-name .exes!!

eh.. doesnt do much unless you remove the file extension 

we used to do it at school when the school blocked Firefox.exe to make us use IE.. we just renamed it to Explorer.exe and it ran without being blocked XD

It could change the path the coding takes if wanting to save/load

typically nothing calls back on the .exe

now if you were to rename the robot designs or teams folder.. then the game will kill itself
