Title: Problem with textures...
Post by: Anonymity on December 16, 2008, 08:54:42 PM: I managed to get RA2 installed fine, but I've been having a problem by which textures will screw up when I run the game. They change every 10 seconds or so and the screen flickers very heavily. Here are some screenshots.

At the start of a battle.

I have installed the patch 1.3 and I do have the latest drivers. My card is an nvidia 8800 GTS. Anyone got a solution?

Post by: Slipster on January 09, 2009, 02:33:54 PM: I can see this is an older post but i thought i would add my opinion. First thing, nice GPU same as mine :) Second, have you tried using the DSL 2.1 version? that works fine for me.

I had a very similar problem with RA2 but after DSL landed all was fine. Try it.
