make sure you only use standard parts, ie no downloaded ones, excluding the dsl parts.

Also there's a flaw in the mod. Some of the parts are marked as cheat parts though they aren't that. Clickbeetle told me a very easy way to avoid this happening, it was just only changing a 0 to 1 in a file but I can't remember in which file.

When you, Clicky, read this topic tell him which file it was.

It's RA2.cfg, in your main RA2 folder.  Change AllowNonStandardMultiplayer = 0 to 1.

Looks like you don't have it then. Try to search your cd if you can find it there.

I'm not sure how the game could function without it.  But if you really don't have it, here's what it looks like.  You can save it as RA2.cfg.

[Begin RA2 Config]
EventNumBots=4
GraphicDetail=2
GraphicEffects=1
GraphicMessages=1
ArenaIntros=0
SoundVolume=-445
MusicVolume=-445
MusicMuted=0
SoundMuted=0
DefaultCamera=watch
UpdateInterval=0.018750
AllowNonStandardMultiplayer=1
[End RA2 Config]
[Begin Input Config]
device0 = guid 4cb8b0d0 9e7a 11d7 80 1 44 45 53 54 0 0; deadzone 500
device0 = guid a5e224e0 9cd4 11d7 80 1 44 45 53 54 0 0; deadzone 500
[End Input Config]
[Begin Graphics Config]
3DHardware=1
FullScreen=1
FSDisplayWidth=800
FSDisplayHeight=600
FS3DDisplayWidth=800
FS3DDisplayHeight=600
BitsPerPixel=32
GfxDetail=1
MagMinFiltering=Linear
EnableDepthStencil=1
DepthStencilFormat=D16
DisplayDriver=Default
[End Graphics Config]
[Begin Multiplayer Config]
Port=9791
PlayerName=Mr. Beanjeans
[End Multiplayer Config]

Yes because:  :wink:

- The file isn't that big.
- You get custom parts to work in internet games.
- It's easy to make.

Just get it and see what happens. :)
