Title: Problem: Fraps recording slow and recording 2 videos instead of 1.
Post by: ianh05 on March 04, 2013, 04:00:22 AM: Fraps is currently recording my RA2 game slowly, the game will be running fine but for some reason fraps is recording it much slower. Fraps also records 2 videos instead of 1, most likely due to the slow speed that it's recording at.

Anyone else have this problem before? know any fix?

Post by: Badger on March 04, 2013, 10:49:29 AM: The only fix is to get a better PC, FRAPS hogs your pc's resources. As for the 2 video thing, FRAPS splits video files into 4gb chunks.

Post by: ianh05 on March 04, 2013, 01:33:55 PM: My PC is fine and runs current games smoothly, I also have the full version of fraps so my files shouldn't be split and it hasn't done this before now.

Post by: Badger on March 04, 2013, 01:38:08 PM: No, it doesn't matter if other games don't lag. FRAPS is a lot more intensive than RA2. That's that only real explanation for this. And it splits files whatever version you have. I know, I use it. Annoying, but you can do nothing about it.
