Here's a robot named Rolling Thunder that someone else made:

The chassis is inside the drums.

You can't use that picture without my permision. I'm leaving the forums. But the trick is is place 2 motors facing eachother inside the chassis and then axle load them and create the drum part away from the chassis. While the drums are still away from the chassis you canput all the other necessary components inside the chassis.
