Exporting Problem
« on: January 10, 2010, 05:49:27 PM »
Hey guys, I got a new Windows 7 PC and RA2 works pretty well on it, except that I'm having troubles exporting bots in the bot lab. After I click "export bot," it exports fine in-game and I can import it into other teams, but when I go into the "Robot Designs" folder where the .bot file is supposed to be, it's not there.

Do you guys have any idea where else it would be, and if not, how I could fix it?

I don't know how to fix it, but can you get your bot from the teams folder?

Tried that. I pulled it out and sent it to JB. It was supposed to be my entry for CC3, but it was a HW SnS.

It's in a place called "Compatability files". That's where it is for Vista and 7.

I wound up searching my computer for the .bot file and I found it in the Compatibility Files. It seems to be, however, hidden most of the time. Are there any ways to get to the folder without running a search for it?
