is there any way to check the BIOS? if so, then do some c on it, if not, locate the BIOS chip (marked on the motherboard) and check if it's damaged or dislodged.

it looks like this:

alternatively, look for the CMOS (complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor) it's a silver, dome shaoed component on one of the internal boards, check for damage or dislocation, and try to replace it

it looks like this:

look for any loose or damaged wires, connections or solder and attempt to replace/repair it

CMOS and connections look OK, I was wondering if it was a problem with the power supply or something shorting on the case. How would I check for those?

So you press the power button and it just doesn't do anything. Just the small 1 second fan spin like in the vid.
I'm going to guess this is either the motherboard being dead or the power supply... Not sure about the second, but the first is very likely possible.

Could it be anything else? Is there anything that I can do?

I'm not sure why it died. It always ran well, and never got above 70 degrees, rarely above 50.

I dunno. Stuff can always just die, even if it worked perfectly fine before. Not sure about what to do here. Still got warranty? Send it back. If not.. Well, better find out what is broken in there. And if you're in the need of getting a new PC in the end... Be sure to get the HDD out of the old one.

Not that I can think of, given the situation. Think you'd be best of using that warranty.
