Ronin Causing Lag
« on: September 14, 2005, 08:11:22 PM »
Not a major problem, just a bug I guess, but every time I fight Ronin, the game lags.  It doesn't matter what arena I'm in, it lags.  I notice Ronin uses a unique treaded drive train design.  Weather this has anything to do with the problem or not, I don't know.  Maybe it's just my computer.  I'm not demanding it be fixed, seeing as I don't mind too much, but an explanation would be nice.  Thanks.

yeah it lags on my computer also i think it has something to do with the wheel count on ronin im prettty sure that the stacked wheels inside themselfse and overlapped them to make a solid looking tack then added the piece on the outside to cover up the lip on the wheels

It's probably a combination of the high number of wheels and the high number of polys on its components that makes Ronin laggy.  I didn't make it so I can't be sure.

At least it's still not as bad as the lag in multiplayer.
