Title: Patch problem!
Post by: windrunner on December 05, 2004, 11:46:06 AM: Hi when iam trying to install the v1.20 for robot arena 2 i got an error sayin: 1628: Faild to complete installation. what should i do?

Post by: duh102 on December 05, 2004, 01:18:42 PM: If you told it to install into the RA2 directory ex: C:\program files\RA2, it probably won't install.
If you have the downloaded version, ask someone else, I have the cd version.

Post by: duh102 on December 05, 2004, 04:10:36 PM: You should probably try re-downloading it. If that doesn't work, restart your computer. If that doesn't work, then I think your computer hates DSL. Badly.

Start the game, click Credits and look in the top right corner for the version.

Post by: ACAMS on December 06, 2004, 03:54:33 PM: Well you were supposed to update to v1.2 BEFORE installing DSL, so I don't see how DSL installed right. There should have been several white blanks in the bot lab components. You do know you need to have the disc in the drive to update, don't you?

Post by: thearrow on January 04, 2005, 03:34:45 PM: the official patch for 1.2 is corrupt! when i try installing it i get the error, when i try extracting it with winrar it says the archive is corrupt.....can anyone post a link to a WORKING OFFICIAL PATCH?

And the Robot Arena Patch is not corrupt either.....You DO know you need to have the CD in the tray for it to work don't you?

your the one who cant get it installed.... all he is doing is trying to help you make it work.

i just reinstalled ra2(1.0) and downloaded the patch from robotarena.com, it works fine for me

if you want i can send it to you through msn
