i have not used that cheatbot2 cheat and still when i pick multiplayer game and select my robot, it says that i can't use the bot because some parts are invalid. is this a problem, or is it normal? if it's normal, could you tell me which parts aren't legal in multiplayer games?

none of the cheatbots work well online

but they dont work at all with dsl?

This happened to me a lot before DSL. What I do is exit Multiplayer. Go to your Team HQ. Export the bot causing trouble. Import it to a different team/new team. Try again.

There are two ways to fix this!

#1- check every part on your bot and go to the txt and make sure it says
standard = 1

or go to RA2.cfg and open with notepad and scroll down to
AllowNonStandardMultiplayer=0
change to AllowNonStandardMultiplayer=1

You need 3d Max 4.2 or 5.X.
Then you need to grab one of the two exporters.
Then you need to spend a lot of time tinkering.
