I have just started Ra2 and realise i am a noob but I dont know anything about multiplayer, what to download or anything. Please could someone post the basic instructions how to?

Hey, I'm basicly part noob so I know how you feel not know what to do.
Download the 1.3 patch(offical) and install it (just run the program[not RA2 the patch installer it comes with]), if oyu want DSL I suggest makign a second copy of RA2(after patching) and then installing it (follow ACAMS instalment instructions E X A C T L Y or it won't work).
Also online multiplayer is basicly dead, but if oyu want to play online that doesin't effect anyone(well except you, because you'll be playign with someone... ou know what I mean).

I dont really know what to do once i click multiplayer, what the ip Adress is or what local network is

Local network is if you're using a network like a LAN or hamachi (just google it)

Every computer connected to the Web has an IP address. You could enter a existing server if you type in the server's IP.

What's DSL and how do I make a second copy

Where would the ACAMS instructions be

Yes the patch is on the official website
DSL is a AI mode(New look, parts, computer bots, etc.) you can download it from here:
https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Arena2/AI_Packs/DSL/dsl2.rar
You make second copy by right clicking your Robot Arena 2 Folder and pasting it to somewhere else...
If you want to join a multiplayer channel go to hamachi and use this:
