multiplayer problem
« on: October 06, 2008, 12:43:52 AM »
hi, i have installed RA2 and the DSL 2.0 mod in two of my computers. whenever i create a bot and then go to play on lan, when i choose it i receive an alert saying that only robots with standard components can only play.

how can i solve it?---because using the ones of the computer runs, but when are made by me it doesn't even allow to continue.

hmm... it's certainly an issue with DSL are they are technically custom components.

did you get the 1.2 patch?

or else, i think there's an option to allow custom components in multi. i think you need to edit a text file and the answer is on the forum. search it.

Go to C:\Program Files\Infogrames\Robot Arena 2 DSL (or where ever your game is) and open ra2.cfg with notepad and change....

AllowNonStandardMultiplayer=0 to
AllowNonStandardMultiplayer=1

You may have to have administrative access to change it.....ask you mom or dad to log in and change it for you.
