Guys, I want to know how to increase maximum weight, or make it infinite. Is there any patch for that or mode or cheat? Please help me, and tell me how to do that.
-
You are in the wrong forum, and what you need is an antiballast. Negative weight component.
-
https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/WeightMaker.rar (https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/WeightMaker.rar)
should have a readme in it.
-
Just put both txt files and the folder in your Components folder and you'll be ready to go.
I need to make an antiballast wiki page.
-
Thank you alot, sorry for posting in wrong forums, couldn't find anywhere else to post
Edited: EMm, how do I install that weightmaker, I put all of rar files in components folder, but when i over weight it, it still shows Max weight 800 kg or something like that..

Well I put Weightmaker.rar components in components folder of Robot Arena 2... But the max weight still is 800 kg
-
Well I defend sparkles here. He is right about this, they just post in thje first subforum they find.
@new guy whos name I forget: Ya just cannot threaten people like that here.
What you need to do is decompress the files, and place them in the components folder. FOLLOW THE README, and the files will show up in your components. Each one is known as an "antiballast", and will lower the weight of your bot so you can build to the "new" weight limit. Then remove the antiballast and presto, you have a robot that weighs over 800kgs. You cannot go into the garage or matches with the antiballast though, as it causes your robot to disappear in the battle. AKA, remove it first.
-
If you can't use it in matches or battles, what is use of antiballast? Or increasing maximum weight. You could of mention that at first
-
Antiballasts are temporary components to be used in the bot lab. Key word is temporary.
Examples : You make your chassis, place a -400 kg antiballast and now have a -300kg bot (generally less). you build your bot to the weight limit with antiballast on (aka 800 kg), then remove it before playing: you now have a 1200 kg bot.
-
So, where do i find this antiballast
-
https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/WeightMaker.rar (https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/WeightMaker.rar)
should have a readme in it.
Link.
-
yes its just a tool within the extras section
I made the ones linked above... they will attach anywhere you click in the bot lab
maybe I should put a readme in it.. there is info on my website where the download link is
-
Antiballasts are components you add to a robot. Adding the component takes weight off the robot but the maximum does not change - in other words it decreases the weight of your robot so you can add more weight.
You need to remove the antiballast before testing or going into a match so it doesn't go mad, then you can re-add it in the botlab. When you remove it you will notice the weight of the robot will be above 800kg.
To install it, open that RAR and export whats inside it to your components folder. You can then find the 'weight maker' in the extras section.
