Importing custom finishes
« on: September 14, 2010, 12:01:49 PM »
I am having problems importing a custom chassis finish for a new Firestorm replica I am making.

The problem is that when I select the finish to import then I click OK.
Then the game just... stops.
That is all I can add and Google couldn't help.
So I wondered if you guys could.

Fixed.

For anyone else having this problem.

Make the Chassis in DSL-
Export the Chassis texture-
Edit it-
Import into DSL-
Export textured chassis-
Copy exported .bot file (containing just the chassis) to Stock-
Import robot into Stock-
Build interior of bot.
I do those awful YouTube videos.

There shouldn't be any difference between exporting/importing textures between stock and DSL. If you can't export in stock, you could probably fix the problem by reinstalling. Another problem that you may have been experiencing is the picture got resized or sized wrong.
