3DS Max Help

Hey Guys,


I recently got my hands on 3DS Max 8, and all seems ok, other than one thing -


When I start up 3DSMax, it says that the GaberielMax.dlu failed to initialize, the specified procedure could not be found.


Any reason why it's doing this?

I think it means that a plugin isn't working. take it out and try it again

Tried that, still nothing :/


The one on the custom component tutorial on the wiki doesn't work, can anyone link me to that version of the plugin? :3

You need "3DS Max 5", the plugin don't work with the modern versions (it's a "no no"). If you are OK with "Jack Sparrow Software", I was distributing this back in the days. Nowadays, I gave it to Mr.AS, so you can PM him or me for "an obtaining" of it. He is from USA, so you will achieve a greater speed with him, I'm good too, but I'm in EU. Just make sure to use a download accelerator program.

I'm using 8 (which shows as ok :S) And well wouldn't it make sense to download it from you as I'm in the EU aswell? :P
