How do u slant parts of the robot's chassis?
« on: December 05, 2005, 01:49:56 AM »
Like, i made a lot of robots, and i'm starting fresh. But, Im wondering how to slant sides of the robot, like the front side of the robot "Overkill." How the heck do u do that? Really appreciate it if someone told me.  :?:  :!:

First you need either Base connector under extenders panel or under same panel that red striped round extender and then plant them to your robot's chassis.

Next you need corner extender under same extenders panel and now you can connect your titanium sheet to it.

Or you could take that hinge and then connect it to base connector and then place your sheet to it so your sheet will bend so it wont gain so much damage if it is hitting to something in wrong way.

Edit: Or did you mean that round shape? Then you have to make totally new part what is so large that it covers robot's body under it.

Or you just could import AI robots in your garage and then study of them.

You can do it like this.

Or like this.

Or the best way to do it is like this.

But remeber that hinge also needs wiring but I don't anymore remeber why.

The thing that Admin showed me is correct. Like when I make a chassis, and then i got to step 2, its just a cube, with no slants. How do u slant in step 2?

See how I pulled the corners down in step 2, then I right clicked on the bot and turned it to see what it looked like.
