How come every time in DSL i go to the commponents and the blank commponents crash my Game! someone tell me how to stop this from happening again:?

Well I do have some of those components too.
They are components that have a .txt file but no .gmf for them, wich is why you should never click on them.

Delete the Components.cfz to fix the blank spots, it is the .cfz and not txt files.

there is some components that also just dont have preview images linked from the text file, like some AI components, they had it written in but just no BMP

which I actually fixed them and made one for each just this week

I loaded the 1.3 patch.  Now the game sound and picture breaks up within a few seconds of loading.  It minimizes and won't play.  Task manager says it is still there (no "not responding" comment).  Anything I can try?

Did you install 1.3 before or after DSL?

1.3 needs to be installed before applying the DSL patch.

Edit:  I might have misread your question, do you even have DSL at all or did you only apply 1.3 to the original and it stops working?

If you have the download version of the game you MUST use the 1.3 patch for the download version!
I think you can still install the patch without reinstalling, but if you installed the patch to DSL then you WILL have to completely reinstall.
