Title: Help!
Post by: kcdowdy on September 19, 2007, 01:53:01 PM: First things first, I just got here. I took like a hour to get everything set up.

I got HoJ - Hammer of Justice. And i seem to have everything right, But when i import it the game crashes. And if you would be so kind as to tell me what i've done Wrong!

And i need some help getting Compontis to work. Sorry about my spelling.

For HoJ to work right, you should also have the infinity arena from the Beetlebros site http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/robotarena.htm

The main folder is the one that is the one you see the icon, Events and ect, right?

Could you post a pic of what it looks like please!

Also what do i do to overwrite it?

Post by: ACAMS on September 19, 2007, 10:58:37 PM: Download HoJ and right click the .zip file....select extract files and a box will pop up.....then find C:....then find Program Files......then find Infogrames.....then find Robot Arena 2 (or the folder you made for the mod)....once it is highlighted click OK and then a box will popup saying such and such file already exist.....choose overwrite all and then your bot will import when you go back to the game.

I'm trying to play i'll see if it works.

Post by: ACAMS on September 22, 2007, 10:04:28 AM: Most component packs extract to the main folder......you will need to tell me each pack you plan to install, then I will have to extract it to see where it goes.
I plan on making ALL Downloads on gametechmods.com a self installer, BUT run out of time. I may get back to it this weekend.

Post by: ACAMS on September 23, 2007, 01:26:17 AM: smallsheet.exe (http://smallsheet.exe) is a self installer...download to your desktop and run it!

A J Tank pack needs to be downloaded to your desktop and extracted to the desktop (select "extract here") There is a readme inside telling how to do it, but all you do is drag the two folders to your game and overwrite.:)
