Part packs are cheating. But the best ones are the BBs and Darkrat.

But Cheat parts arn't really apriciated unless it's for the lulz, so if you make a showcase don't use 'em

EDIT: exept for the custom part showcase. :gawe:

What sparkey is trying to say that, although there is nothing wrong with custom components when used for fun, they are not thought of highly by most members here when used on serious bots due to the fact that they are unbalanced and do not belong to a proper version of the game (I.E. Stock, DSL, Backlash, RR AI or the Zone Mod). Also, they are almost always illegal in tournaments. Sparkey linked you to most of the best component packs.

on a more serious note.. if your bored of RA2's standard parts and you want something new and that can be used in tournaments and selected online games jump into the tutorials section and follow the DSL Install tutorial to get a completely different version of RA2
