Funky LumaZone Texture (DSL)
« on: July 21, 2013, 01:24:00 PM »
Hello and good evening to you.

For some reason, the LumaZone texture is funky.

Armor is--oh wait, this isn't the showcase board.

Anyways, DSL version is 2.1, ready-to-go.

Any ideas?

That happens to me too. I wonder why they put a hill underneath the arena, no-one would be able to see it normally.

FIXED!

I just replaced the file folder "kingofhill" in the arena folder from DSL with the one from Stock.

ONE-MAN DANCE PARTY!

Edit: Party's off, LumaZone texture is still funky  :(

I think I've mentioned this before but whatever...

RA2 reuses textures if they have already been loaded. Therefore, if there are any image files with the same name but different looks than this tends to happen. It happens to arenas and components all the time. To fix it, you would have to change the name of the skin that is being used by the arena's floor in the GMF and in the maps folder (preferably in the other arena since this one came out before it).

Hmmm ? this is one of the metal textures given in texture fill, in the paint lab.

Never had this problem either.

Good evening again.

Okay, now I am experiencing the opposite problem.

The floor of the Test arena is stained with the LumaZone Texture.

By the way, that's Razor Jam, a LW rammer. Coming soon: RJ joins the DSL Cavalcade of Crap.

This isn't  :vista: level issue, just a  :mad1: level issue.

Any suggestions on how to fix this  :mad1: level problem?
