In the effects section, I believe. Shouldn't be difficult to find. That's how I always dealt with this (and same with many others)
Well the first thing you absolutely want to do is close out of as many programs you can afford to. I'm assuming you've done that.In Fraps, under the "Movies" tab, there's an otpion to capture videos Full Size or Half Size. Half size takes up less RAM, naturally. Don't record sound - you're just going to dub music over it afterwards, so might as well save bandwidthThere are a lot of tasks that run even when they're not open. Go into Task manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc) and in the "processes" tab, look for things that you can shut off. DON"T SHUT OFF ANYTHING UNLESS YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU KNOW WHAT IT DOES. Because many of them are essential processes. However there are some obvious ones like Steam, Skype, and itunes that run in the background and are just memory sinks.Additionally, your antivirus program probably has an option to go "Sleep Mode" or "Silent Mode" for a specified amount of time. Set it for an hour or so, and just to be safe, make sure it turns back on when you're done.
OBS runs better than fraps imho.https://obsproject.com/
I assume that you'll be flooding my PM box and not making any videos until this gets resolved right now, so here. (Image removed from quote.)

(Image removed from quote.)That search is the best.I'm gonna try what Sonny first said, and if that doesn't work, then I'll move to Bandicam. One more thing (posting it here so Sonny's Message Box isn't flooded), on one of your recent Let's Build you said you can film the whole screen. How? Some screenshots of how would help.

Under the "General" tab, check off "Monitor Aero Desktop (DWM.)" However, this doesn't work with Windows 8.
