Please help. I need to do the tournament as a lot of you may well know.

This happens with some robots but i'll get onto that later. Just please help. If Craaig would lift the hosting this limit until I've sorted this out, I'd really appreciate it.

In the effects section, I believe. Shouldn't be difficult to find.
That's how I always dealt with this (and same with many others)

Too Fast

EDIT:

Ok, it works but I'd still like to have it run perfectly.

As far as I know, you can really only go for one of the 2. Perhaps try a different screen recorder?

Tourney host protips:
  • Reduce your in-game screen-res to the lowest you can. Same with the graphics quality. Turn everything down (except for audio, that doesn't really matter as much).
  • Close any hardware intensive programs (skype, steam, internet browsers etc).
  • Lower the frames that FRAPS records to something like 30.
  • To defeat the cyberdemon, shoot at it until it dies.

FYI, more RAM = FRAPS behaves better. You may want to consider upgrading your computer after you are done with this tourney. Normally FRAPS only misbehaves when you have anything in the range of 1-2 GB or RAM.

and for fug's sake don't put skrilricks music in your videos (<-- most important point right here folks)
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Well the first thing you absolutely want to do is close out of as many programs you can afford to.  I'm assuming you've done that.

In Fraps, under the "Movies" tab, there's an otpion to capture videos Full Size or Half Size.  Half size takes up less RAM, naturally.  Don't record sound - you're just going to dub music over it afterwards, so might as well save bandwidth

There are a lot of tasks that run even when they're not open.  Go into Task manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc) and in the "processes" tab, look for things that you can shut off. DON"T SHUT OFF ANYTHING UNLESS YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU KNOW WHAT IT DOES.   Because many of them are essential processes.  However there are some obvious ones like Steam, Skype, and itunes that run in the background and are just memory sinks.

Additionally, your antivirus program probably has an option to go "Sleep Mode" or "Silent Mode" for a specified amount of time. Set it for an hour or so,  and just to be safe, make sure it turns back on when you're done.

Thanks for this. If it doesn't work, I'll try this;

Thank you to you as well.

My friend at school said to try the full version of Bandicam (his isn't, and obviously shows watermarks on his videos which he isn't bothered by but I am), does anyone know how much it is?

I assume that you'll be flooding my PM box and not making any videos until this gets resolved right now, so here.

No "how to take a screenshot" in one of the tabs? All the pros do it.

That search is the best.
I'm gonna try what Sonny first said, and if that doesn't work, then I'll move to Bandicam.
One more thing (posting it here so Sonny's Message Box isn't flooded), on one of your recent Let's Build you said you can film the whole screen. How? Some screenshots of how would help.

Under the "General" tab, check off "Monitor Aero Desktop (DWM.)"  However, this doesn't work with Windows 8.
